With a passion for conducting comprehensive and diagnostic psychological assessments (ranging from young children to adults), Lisa is a skilled parenting support practitioner and has been working for many years with the parenting teams of children facing challenges. Lisa is a Fellow of the College of Educational & Developmental Psychologists and AHPRA Board Approved Supervisor, and specialises in child and youth mental health (particularly how it interplays with developmental and learning difficulties). Having worked in an advisory capacity for both hospital and community mental health services, Lisa has contributed to the development of an inpatient unit for adolescents with severe and complex mental health needs, as well as conducting a functional review of an interstate tertiary maternity hospital's growth and development unit. Not only has Lisa presented her research on self-regulation in children born extremely preterm at an international conference in Dublin, she is the lead author on three scientific publications on the same topic. Lisa comes from a musical background - in her spare time, you'll find her supporting the arts and comedy, and watching TV shows and movies.
